Nevada County host so many great community events! From signature events like Cornish Christmas and Hot August Nights, to seasonal events like the multitude of fantastic Farmer’s Markets, concerts and movies in the park, there is something for everyone! In an inaugural show, Nevada City fine artist LeeAnn Brook will feature over twelve new large format landscape-inspired abstract paintings at her gallery LeeAnn Brook Fine Art for the month of April. The mixed media paintings will also be complemented by her photos that highlight the inspiration for each painting. Signed copies of her award-winning book “Points of Inspiration: An Artist’s Journey with Painting and Photography” will also be for sale. The show and sale runs April 1-30 at LeeAnn Brook Fine Art, 231 Broad Street in downtown Nevada City. The opening reception is Friday evening, April 5 from 5-7pm. Sawyer Fredericks shot into the limelight after winning Season 8 of The Voice as the youngest artist ever to participate on the show.
