Each holiday season, we pause from the pace of the market to focus on something near and dear to our hearts: our Annual Angel Tree in Grass Valley. As a top producing agent in Nevada County, Alisa felt moved to do something to give back to the community she loves. What better way than to help make Christmas magical for kids in need.
Tradition Rooted in Community
What began as a small team effort has become one of our favorite traditions — a simple but powerful way to bring joy to children and families in need. Angel Tree in Grass Valley has grown to help many families and become well known in our community.
Every year in late November a tree goes up in our offices filled with Angle Tags. Each one represents a local child and a Christmas wish list item — a warm coat, a new toy, a favorite book, clothes, shoes are just a few of the items requested. Clients, friends and community members are invited to stop by to choose an angel tag. Choosing tags can also be done by calling or texting Alisa Johnson at 530-559-4871.
Angel Tree is a beautiful reminder that the real heart of Grass Valley isn’t found in its homes — it’s found in its people.
How the Angel Tree Works
Participating is easy as 1-2-3:
- Stop by or call Alisa to select an Angel Tree tag.(we have 2 office locations 10598 Combie Rd or 776B Freeman Lane, both offices have different open hours so check with Alisa first)
- Shop for the gift listed on the tag.
- Return the gift wrapped with Angle tag taped on top to our office by the due date published.
Alisa Johnson works with a local organization to make sure every tag represents a local child in need that will have something special for them on Christmas morning.
